Another herb is Momordica Charantia, or bitter melon. It is a fruitful vine that is widely cultivated in Africa, South America, and Asia. The use of this herb is evident since early times, as it was applied in folk medicine for the indigenous. This is considered as an herbal cure for diabetes because it has blood sugar lowering properties, which are found in the juice or extract of the unripe fruit. Plus, this herb contains many compounds with confirmed anti-diabetic properties.

The last herbal cure for diabetes mentioned in this article is known as Gymnema Sylvestre. It functions to assist the pancreas to produce insulin.
